Luke Supports Dementia Action Week

Luke Fletcher MS supports Dementia Action Week 2023.

This week is Dementia Action Week.
There are estimated to be around 50,000 people living with dementia in Wales. By 2050, this figure is expected to rise to 100,000.
The current diagnosis rate in Wales is estimated to be around 50%, which means that of the 50,000 people who are living with dementia in Wales, we only know of around 25,000 of them.
Getting a dementia diagnosis can be scary, but it means getting the support you need.
